Service Description
The experience begins with a transfer to Los Glaciares National Park. From the "Bajo de las Sombras" port, you will board a boat to sail in front of the imposing southern wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier. After disembarking, mountain guides will lead you on a trek that combines the lake shore, moraines, and a lush Andean forest. Equipped with crampons and helmets, you will walk on the ice to discover deep crevasses, blue moulines, and turquoise lagoons in a unique environment. โ Includes: Round-trip transfers from downtown hotels in El Calafate. Navigation crossing Rico Lake (round trip in front of the glacier wall). Guided walk of 3 hours in total (approximately 1 hour of walking on the ice). Technical safety equipment (crampons and helmets provided on-site). Professional bilingual mountain guides (Spanish / English). Glaciology and safety briefing. Hot drink and souvenir at the end of the tour. โ Does not include: Admission fee to Los Glaciares National Park (Mandatory to purchase in advance or pay in cash at the entrance). Box lunch, meals, or drinks. Personal technical clothing or footwear. ๐ Starting point: "Bajo de las Sombras" Port (Route 11, 70 km from El Calafate). ๐๏ธ Frequency: Daily. Operates all year round. โฑ๏ธ Duration: 4 hours and 30 minutes (Without transfer from the port) | 10 hours (With full transfer and visit to the walkways). โฐ Schedules: Multiple daily departures to be coordinated according to the assigned time slot. ๐ถ Age restrictions: Exclusively for people aged 8 to 65 years old. No exceptions. โ ๏ธ Conditions and Important Information: Physical Demands: Passengers must have the psychophysical capability to walk for 3 hours on uneven terrain (forest, moraine, and ice with crampons). Required Clothing: It is mandatory to wear comfortable, warm clothes, a waterproof jacket and pants, trekking boots or sports shoes, gloves, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Weather: As a mountain activity in a natural environment, it is not cancelled due to bad weather as long as safety conditions are guaranteed. ๐ก Recommendation: Since this is a full-day excursion, we suggest bringing your own box lunch and not scheduling any other activities for the same day.

Terms and Conditions: Documentation, Changes, and Compliance 1. Documentation and Travel Requirements It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to be informed about, manage, and carry all personal documentation required by the immigration, customs, and health authorities of the destination. The agency assumes no responsibility for delays or the inability to travel due to expired passports, lack of visas, or deficiencies in documentation. Any extra expenses generated by these reasons will be borne by the passenger. Minors: Minors under 18 years of age traveling abroad must have an express authorization granted by both parents before a National Public Notary, duly legalized or apostilled. If the minor is traveling with both parents, the parental bond must be proven by presenting the original marriage certificate booklet (libreta de matrimonio), a legalized birth certificate, or an ID card containing filiation data. If traveling with only one parent, it is mandatory to present the notary authorization from the non-traveling parent. It is mandatory to provide the agency with the exact personal data of all travelers (full names, nationality, updated identification numbers) exactly as they appear on their official documentation. 2. Changes and Service Modifications Any request to change dates, itineraries, or conditions of the contracted services is strictly subject to availability. At the sole discretion of the final service provider (airlines, hotels, transport companies, etc.), any modification may incur penalties and/or require the payment of a fare difference. These conditions are set by the operators and do not depend on the will of our agency. 3. Compliance and Acceptance Making the payment for the deposit, registration, or travel reservation implies, on the part of the passengers, full knowledge and total compliance with these General Conditions. All documentation delivered as a result of the trip will constitute the Travel Contract. Your personal data is protected by Law 25,326 and is treated confidentially; only data that is absolutely essential for confirming the reservations of the chosen services will be disclosed.
