ITINERARY
Day 1: Mar 29 – LIMA
Arrival in Lima and transfer to your hotel.
PM: An exclusive and intense tour of the Historic Center of Lima will lead us to discover and admire the architectural relics that are part of this ancient Lima, recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site. The Santo Domingo Convent marks the beginning of this magnificent experience. Its construction began during the founding of Lima, and it was the site where the University of San Marcos, the oldest in the Americas, was established. Inside the convent, time seems to have stood still. The choir, featuring the oldest stalls in the country, and the library, with 25,000 Dominican books—some printed in the 15th century—hold invaluable historical value. The Santo Domingo Convent was frequented by Lima's saints, and today it is the final resting place for the remains of Saint Martin de Porres, Saint John Macias, and Saint Rose of Lima. Afterwards, we will walk toward the Lima Cathedral, crossing the Plaza Mayor and passing in front of the Government Palace and City Hall. We will enter the Cathedral, a jewel of religious art and a witness to Lima's history. Inside, the works of art will bring us closer to the moments Lima experienced in the past. Then, we will head to the Larco Museum, located 30 minutes from downtown Lima. The museum was recognized by Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards as one of the top 25 museums in the world. In its various rooms, you can appreciate the full beauty of ancient Peruvian cultures. The storage area is particularly impressive due to the quantity of pieces representing faces, objects, fruits, birds, and other elements that were part of daily life. Overnight stay in Lima.

Next, we will have a panoramic view of the Inca shrine of Qenqo, an ancient temple of the Puma that houses a sacrificial altar. Finally, we arrive at the watchtower of Puca Pucará and Tambomachay, a monument of remarkable architectural excellence considered one of the pillars of the Andean worldview.
PM: An exclusive city tour starting with a visit to the San Cristóbal Plaza to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Then, we will visit the San Pedro Market, where we will soak up the local flavor and learn more about regional products in this market that has everything and supplies the entire city. Afterward, the Qorikancha Temple welcomes us with all its magnificence and splendor, featuring walls that were once covered in gold. From San Blas, the artisans' neighborhood, we will walk down Hatun Rumiyoc Street, passing the Inca Roca Palace (now the Archbishop's Palace), where we will have time to admire the world-famous Twelve-Angled Stone. We will continue to the Plaza de Armas to visit the Cathedral, which houses colonial works of incredible value. Overnight stay in Cusco.
Day 5: Apr 02 – CUSCO / SACRED VALLEY / MACHU PICCHU
We will visit the most prominent sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will depart for the town of Chinchero, the most typical and picturesque in the Sacred Valley. This town is also famous for its female weavers; we will make a brief stop at a textile center to appreciate their beautiful fabrics and learn about ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning alpaca wool. Once in Chinchero, we will appreciate its Inca archaeological complex and its beautiful colonial church. We will continue to Moray, a beautiful and curious Inca archaeological complex composed of colossal concentric terraces resembling a large amphitheater. In Inca times, it served as an agricultural laboratory where various microclimates were recreated. Lunch at one of the local restaurants. We will end our tour by visiting the fabulous archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, important to the Incas as a military, religious, and agricultural center. We will visit the Temple of the Ten Windows, the Baths of the Ñusta, and the Temple of the Sun, among other points of interest. Postcard views from the heights of Ollantaytambo will close this magical day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the afternoon, we will depart by train from Ollantaytambo station.
