ITINERARY
Day 1 June 03: Milan
Arrival at the airport and transfer to our hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2 June 04: Milan
Breakfast. Free time to discover the beauty of the capital of Lombardy, admiring the grandeur of its buildings and elegant cafes such as Zucca, Taveggia, or Cova, visiting the fashion triangle, and more. Optional excursion to Lake Como. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 3 June 05: Milan – Venice Mestre
Breakfast. Departure for a panoramic tour accompanied by a local guide, passing through Castello Sforzesco, Via Dante, and Via Cordusio until reaching the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, a meeting point for Milanese society, ending at Piazza del Duomo to admire the majestic exterior of the cathedral. Departure for Verona, the city immortalized by Shakespeare in "Romeo and Juliet." Free time to stroll through its romantic streets and visit the Arena amphitheater, Piazza Bra, or Juliet’s House with its iconic balcony. Continuation to the hotel in the Veneto Region. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 June 06: Venice Mestre
Breakfast. Departure for Venice. We will enter the city with a panoramic boat ride. During the navigation, we will see, among others: the Church of Santa Maria della Salute, the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, and the Customs House. We will continue our panoramic tour walking through St. Mark's Square and visiting a Murano glass factory. Free time to continue exploring the city, take a gondola ride, climb the campanile, or enjoy the hidden corners of this magnificent city. Late in the afternoon, vaporetto to Tronchetto and return by bus to our hotel in the Veneto Region. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 June 07: Venice – Padua – Florence
Breakfast. Early departure for Padua, where you will have brief free time to visit the Basilica of Saint Anthony, built between the 13th and 14th centuries, a wonderful work of Italian Gothic art housing the Saint's remains. Continuation to the capital of Tuscany, crossing beautiful mountain landscapes. Arrival in Florence. A tour will lead us through the city's most emblematic sites: the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore with Brunelleschi's wonderful dome; Giotto's bell tower; the Baptistery with Ghiberti's famous Gates of Paradise; Ponte Vecchio; and Piazza della Signoria with Palazzo Vecchio and its collection of statues and fountains. Free time to explore the streets or take an optional visit to "Santa Croce and Medieval Florence" (not included) to see the tombs of Galileo, Michelangelo, and Machiavelli. We will also walk through the medieval quarter, passing the birthplace of Opera and the house of Dante Alighieri. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 June 08: Florence – Lucca – Pisa – Florence
Breakfast. Excursion to enjoy a wonderful "Tuscan day" with visits to Lucca and Pisa. We begin in Lucca, the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini and a medieval haven with intact walls, the Duomo of San Martino, and Renaissance palaces. Departure for Pisa, the birthplace of Galileo, for a panoramic visit to the Square of Miracles, featuring the baptistery, the cathedral, and the famous Leaning Tower. Return to Florence. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 June 09: Florence – San Gimignano – Siena – Rome
After breakfast, departure for San Gimignano, the "Medieval Manhattan," famous for its 14 remaining medieval towers built as a display of power by influential families. Free time to stroll through its picturesque alleys. Continuation to Siena. Free time in this UNESCO World Heritage medieval city, known for its historic center, the Cathedral, and the fan-shaped Piazza del Campo. Continuation to Rome and arrival at the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8 June 10: Rome
Breakfast. Visit to the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. We will head to Vatican City, the smallest state in the world. We will tour the galleries of the museums with our local guide to reach the Sistine Chapel and admire the frescoes. Then, we visit St. Peter's Basilica to see Michelangelo's "Pietà" and the grand dome. Following this, a panoramic tour of Rome will cover emblematic areas such as Castel Sant'Angelo, Tiber Island, the Mouth of Truth, Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, and the Colosseum (exterior), among others. Rest of the day free. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 9 June 11: Rome – Naples – Capri
Breakfast. Full-day excursion to Naples and Capri. We will head to the Campania region for a panoramic tour of Naples, seeing Piazza del Plebiscito, Galleria Umberto I, and the San Carlo Theater with Mount Vesuvius in the background. Then, we take a boat to the island of Capri. After disembarking at Marina Grande, weather permitting, an optional boat ride to see the cliffs and caves is available (not included). With our local guide, we will go to the upper part of the island to reach the main square and its elegant boutiques. Finally, we sail back to Naples and transfer to the hotel. *The Capri excursion will be replaced by Pompeii and Naples if weather or naval operations prevent travel to the island. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 10 June 12: Naples – Amalfi Coast – Naples
Breakfast. Excursion along the Amalfi Coast. Departure for Sorrento to board a boat to Positano, one of the most picturesque spots with its narrow steep streets and domed roofs. After the visit, we board another boat to Amalfi, the coast's capital and home of limoncello. Free time to explore before our bus picks us up at the port of Salerno. Return to our hotel in Naples. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 11 June 13: Naples
Breakfast. Free day to explore the lively historic center, a labyrinth of narrow streets. You can discover local shops, try authentic Italian espresso, or taste the sfogliatella. This city is the birthplace of authentic pizza, which you can enjoy at historic pizzerias like Sorbillo or Da Michele. Accommodation. Optional visit to Pompeii.
Day 12 June 14: Naples – Buenos Aires
Breakfast. Free time until the scheduled transfer to the airport for your flight home. End of our services.
